In Muscat, the primary committee tasked with observing the Shawwal crescent for the year 1445 AH is scheduled to convene on the evening of Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the General Office of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA).
Presiding over the committee meeting will be His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The Ministry has urged citizens and residents to actively participate in the crescent moon sighting process by collaborating with field teams in the various wilayats or by reaching out to the subcommittees located in the offices of Their Excellencies the governors.
